Statement of intent
Devology Labs is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, clients, and visitors. We comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all applicable workplace health and safety regulations in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
We treat the prevention of work-related injury and ill health as a core operational responsibility, not an administrative formality.
Scope
This policy applies to DEVOLOGY.IO Limited (London), DEVOLOGY LABS, LLC (Delaware), and Visdata Kft. (Budapest) (together, "Devology Labs"), and to all engagements carried out by us — whether on client premises, in shared workspaces, or remotely.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for health and safety rests with the directors of each Devology Labs entity. Day-to-day responsibility lies with the engagement lead for each project.
All staff and contractors are responsible for taking reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others affected by their work.
Working arrangements
Most of our work is carried out remotely or at client premises. We assess workstation ergonomics, working hours, and rest patterns for all team members, and we provide guidance on safe home-office setup.
When working at client sites, we comply with the host's health and safety arrangements and complete any required inductions before commencing work.
Reporting incidents
Any work-related incident, near miss, or hazard must be reported promptly to the engagement lead and recorded. Serious incidents are reported in line with applicable regulations (including RIDDOR in the UK where relevant).
Review
This policy is reviewed at least annually, or sooner if our operations or applicable legislation change materially.
